Guide to install Marango Trade

There are 2 ways Marango Trade can be installed:

Local – Do it yourself without our assistance.

Remote – With our assistance.

Note: if covered by an active subscription there are generally no costs associated with requesting a remote install. Please give us a call to confirm.

Local:

Download the installer from Marango’s Website: Download Now

When the download completes, open and install Marango Trade.

Select Yes to install Marango Trade.

You are presented with the End User License Agreement. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to give us a call to confirm. More information on the EULA can be found in this article.

Please take the time to read this carefully, If you are authorised, Select “I accept the agreement” and click Next.

You will need to know the licencing and registration details. This can be found in your onboarding email.

Company User: eg. Marango User

Organisation: eg. Marango Grains

License Key: 1AB25-123-TSL89-321AB-ACE23

Please take time to confirm these are correct and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to give us a call to confirm.

Select a location to Install Marango Trade, The default location is recommended.

The next step will confirm the type of installation you are wanting to perform. There is only one option available here (Client Installation) Simply click Next to continue.

Select the location you want the Marango Trade Shortcut to be within the start menu, We recommend leaving it as default.

If you want a shortcut to be placed on your desktop, leave it ticked & click Next.

After you have confirmed all the details are correct click Install

Marango Updater

The Marango Updater installer will begin once Marango Trade has finished.

You will need your Primary User and Organisation details once again, Located in your Email.

Select a location to install Marango Updater. We recommend using the default location.

Leaving the install type as full is recommended.

Leaving the Start Menu and Desktop shortcuts set as default is recommended if support is ever needed, it allows us to more quickly locate things while on the phone with you.

Confirm the details listed are correct before clicking the Install button.

Once this installation process has finished Maragno Update will run and search for any software updates which are available. Please install all updates listed. More information on the Updater can be found in this article.

When complete Launch Marango Trade and proceed to connect to your database covered in the Database Connection article.

Launch Marango Trade:

On the first run of Marango Trade, there will be no connection besides a Demo Database (this can either be removed or left for “Training/testing” purposes)

To add your company-specific database, Head over to the Database Connection article.

Remote:

Head to www.marango.com.au scroll to the bottom and select the Help via TeamViewer link on the bottom left.

An installation guide for TeamViewer can be found here on the official TeamViewer site.

Please perform the TeamViewer installation on each computer you are wanting to have Marango Trade installed on.

Once TeamViewer is installed, the main window will show a Computer ID and Password.

These are required to allow Marango to access your system(s) we cannot gain access without you providing us with these two parts of information.

When you are ready to proceed with the installation, contact Marango Support via one of the methods listed on our Support page.

One of our staff will guide you through the installation process.

Marango will:

Individually log into each PC where Marango Trade will be installed

Download & run the installers making sure the EULA is read properly with those who have the authorisation to confirm this step.

Enter the credentials for:

  • Company
  • User
  • Organisation
  • License key

Log in as an Administrator to create the first Database connection, Admin & Standard user, guiding you through the process to add extras when the need arises.

Talk you through changing the Administrator password once installation with the main admin user is complete!

Log in as each user on each machine using a generic password if one was generated for you pre-installation and force a password change on first log in!
